I am a psychiatrist, trained at Northwestern University School of Medicine & licensed in Illinois since 1987. I integrate Western medicine and alternative healing methods for the most effective results. As a holistic practitioner, I address all facets of existence: physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual, as an integrated whole. It is my belief that we are meant to be fully present in the world, in an integrated way unique to each individual. A variety of factors may prevent us from being fully present, including physical vulnerabilities, past experiences, lifestyle choices, life circumstances & environment. I advocate a model of treatment that emphasizes collaboration between client & practitioner, empowerment of the client and personal responsibility on the part of the client for their own life. I bring my clinical expertise and offer a therapeutic relationship which facilitates clients in mining their inner wisdom & calling forth their own potential.
