Take a break from the stresses of urban living to experience forest bathing, a relational practice that invites you to slow down and immerse yourself in the energy, sights, sounds, and smells of the forest. Also called forest bathing or forest therapy, it is a guided slow, gentle experience of wandering.
Forest bathing can foster a deeper sense of intimacy with both the natural world and your authentic nature.
Covering about one mile, a forest bathing walk is a nonstrenuous activity, in which you may be standing or sitting for periods up to 20 minutes.Through a relaxing series of invitations, be guided to experience the environment through all of your senses.
As you move through each invitation, there is time for sharing with the group, as well as deep listening to others. The walk concludes with a special tea ceremony and snacks. Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes for uneven terrain. Adults aged 18 and older are welcome.
