Explore the human need for transcendence through a dialogical
study of insightful and challenging texts, ranging from those of
Franz Kafka to the Bible and the S'fat Emet, a late 19th century
Hassidic rabbi (all in English). Getting to God is a journey
whereby you can: Identify your own desire to connect to the divine
Source of Being. Acknowledge the difficulties and challenges of
doubt on the road toward belief. Open yourself to the possibility
of faith. Examine two potential paths and how they inform your
journey. Enhance your proclivity for connecting, finding the
difference between faith and trust and how that relates to
right-brain and left-brain spirituality. Leave with a renewed sense
of spiritual possibility and building blocks for doing so. This
course is relevant and open to anyone of any spiritual or religious
belief.
