Baha’i Study Circle:
Reflection on the Life of the Spirit
Gain insight about your own spiritual reality
Joyce Litoff
The Baha’i faith is a system of belief promoting justice, peace, and world unity through personal and social transformation. It is based on the inspirational teachings of Baha’u’llah. Baha’i study circles are creative, collaborative sessions in which you will be introduced to selections from the Baha’i writings and participate in related interactive exercises and art projects designed to stimulate discussion, deep thought, and reflection on topics that include: how life begins and what is death, the soul as a spiritual entity created by God, the importance of prayer, the true significance of your life, using God’s help in developing humankind’s latent capacity, and life after death. As you become familiar with Baha’u’llah’s writings, you will develop an appreciation for their depth, poetry, and power. You will gain insight about your own spiritual reality and see new ways to bring prayer and meditation into your life. You may experience a new sense of direction, better understand your individual role in the progress of society, and create more fulfilling relationships with family, friends, and the wider community. Deepen your spirituality whether you practice as a Baha’i member or not.
