Resistance Stretching
See an immediate increase in strength and flexibility
Carrie Collins
The body naturally wants to stretch because it is important. Discover a new and innovative way to stretch by using Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching, a therapeutic form of stretching that elongates the muscles while contracting them. This allows for a deeper, but painless, stretch. You will see an immediate increase in strength and flexibility, giving you a better body posture and balance from the inside out. This all-over body flexibility also improves your health and mind. You will do a beginning series of self-stretches and be introduced to assisted stretching. Self-stretches are similar to many poses used in various forms of yoga. The difference is that you resist and move constantly through each pose to strengthen, stretch, activate, and balance specific muscle groups around the hips and shoulders. Open to all fitness levels. Please dress comfortably and bring an exercise or yoga mat.
